Kairos USA conference comes to Los Angeles on April 18
The Kairos USA Los Angeles Conference is taking place April 18 and will encourage people of faith and conviction to take a prophetic stands for justice, freedom and equality for all the people of the Holy Land.
Titled “People of God Rise Up!,” the conference features strong Christian, Muslim and Jewish voices as well as an opportunity to listen to our brothers and sisters in Palestine speaking to us via videotape. Kairos USA’s Director of Church Participation, Diane Dulin, is among the plenary speakers.
The all-day event happens at Holy Family Catholic Church in South Pasadena. The program will survey the history essential to understand the ongoing conflict in Palestine and Israel. Speakers will provide a clear and close look at the current situation, including the Israeli occupation and the siege and blockade of Gaza, the conditions within Israel, and reasons for the failure of the peace process over the last 25 years.
